Organisational development
Organisational development in charities can relate to any aspect of the organisation’s work. The need for it may arise from some kind of review, self- assessment or external evaluation, or to meet the demands of a new strategy, commissioner or regulation.
As a consultant who helps charities plan for change, all my work is focused on supporting you to work out your priorities and implement developments in your organisation. The kinds of organisational developments my work can help you with include:
- Improving your effectiveness e.g. responding to recommendations from reviews or evaluations, addressing feedback from service users
- Improving your strategy for impact
- Better governance
- New service development, service redesign, co-design
- Planning for growth in current services (“scaling up”) or diversifying
- Campaign planning
- Building on learning from your team’s experience or best practice in similar organisations
- Improving your case for support e.g. through a clearer theory of change
- Planning for organisational change
When I work with you, I make your purpose my purpose.
