Do you need help planning for change?

Our world is changing more and more rapidly. Charities, like any other organisations, need to learn and adapt to survive. Sometimes it’s hard to take stock and think about the future when you are busy getting on with delivering programmes, services and campaigns, and fundraising just to keep going.

If you are involved in a UK charity or other non-profit organisation focused on making a social impact, you may benefit from some external help to plan and develop your organisation in order for your work to remain meaningful, effective, feasible and sustainable.

As a consultant dedicated to the UK charity sector, with over 30 years’ experience, when I work with you I make your purpose my purpose.

I can help you with strategy development, articulating your theory of change,  analysis, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, business planning, service design, partnerships and collaboration, governance, organisational/board development and project management.

Why work with me?

I have over 30 years’ experience working with/researching hundreds of charities and their stakeholders and I have held a range of senior roles in both very small and very large organisations. My work has given me:

* A deep understanding of all aspects of running charitable organisations, underpinned by a MSc in Charity Finance and Management (awarded with Distinction). I have also taught a Master’s course in Charity Marketing and Fundraising.

* Over 25 years’ experience working on charity strategy development, including bespoke design and project management of full strategy development processes for organisations and partnerships of all sizes, facilitation of key steps in the process. such as data analysis, surveys, stakeholder consultation interviews/events.

* Extensive knowledge of the voluntary sector’s support infrastructure/ecosystem, having worked on a range of projects for umbrella bodies such as NCVO, other capacity building organisations and funders.

Jean is expert, strategic and insightful, providing a safe space to think, plan and do with appropriate challenge. Her approach is honest, robust, flexible and creative. She has gravitas, great humour, and is at ease with people, and puts them at ease, whoever they are.

Jean is just right if you are looking for someone to give your organisation additional capacity to think ahead, plan for a better future and create social change.”
